Toddler Tips - HOT Easter Crafts!!

LOVE this adorable Easter bucket from http://www.marthastewart.com/ . I especially LOVE the chickie template - they are absolutely adorable!! My kids and I made Easter baskets the other day out of old shoe boxes, construction paper, markers and good old foam stickers! I will post their masterpieces tomorrow.

How about this adorable Easter bunny card! I found this at a site called - Crafters Community. I will have to find some time tomorrow to make a few for their grandparents!

The also wanted to mention some of THE BEST chocolate I have ever tasted - Gertrude Hawk Chocolate
I grew up just north of Scranton, PA and was very lucky to be near the home of this delicious chocolate! It really melts in your mouth and put Hershey's to shame :>

Thursday Toddler Tips - NEW Sandals for Summer from Landsend.com

OK - so I admit that I am starting to think about spring and summer! I started by finding the shoes for my kids this upcoming season! Lands Ends Toddler Solid Action Sandals found at Amazon.com or Landsend.com.

These babies are perfect for your active little people - comes in a variety of colors for boys and girls! They will take you kids on adventures on land and sea all with a fantastic antimicrobial finish to help cut down on odor. I love the shoes that are very multifunctional.

I have a toddler boy and I will say that last summer (definetely before Labor Day) his sandals STUNK!! I am SOOOO looking forward to a minimized smell this year!

Valentine's Day Kids Craft

With Valentine's Day QUICKLY approaching I was looking for a unique treat for my son's preschool Valentine card.

I found these delicious and simple looking rice krispie treats in a heart shape - FUN! Here is the recipie - http://jas.familyfun.go.com/recipefinder/display?id=40795. I am going to jazz it up by adding some pink and red sprinkles and possibly dipping one side into melted chocolate - YUMMY :>

Cellophane bags and ribbon can be found at your local arts and crafts store OR you can slip it into a simple ziplock bag!

Inside (or outside) the bag slip in a poem printed in red or pink ink and glued to a red construction paper heart that reads:

"Thanks for being my snap, crackle and pop friend!" OR

"You put the snap, crackle and pop into our friendship!"

Now there's a simple and sweet Valentine that anyone would enjoy! :>
